How It Works: Wash, Dry, Fold & Iron 🧺

As a professional mobile laundry service, Multitasking Mum upholds strict quality standards to ensure your garments are returned clean, fresh, and ready to wear — just the way you like and deserve.

LAUNDRY DETERGENTS:

Our team uses three carefully selected Multitasking Mum detergent options to achieve the very best cleaning results:

Powder detergent + scented fabric softener

For a pleasant fragrance and lasting freshness.

Powder detergent + unscented, hypoallergenic fabric softener

Ideal for sensitive skin and baby

clothing.

Your own detergent and softener

You’re welcome to send these along with your laundry bag if you’d prefer us to use your personal products.

A product fee (detergent and softener) of $5 per load applies.

COLD WATER
We generally wash with cold water, unless you request otherwise.

💧 Why?

Cold water is effective for most fabrics — it removes stains well while helping to preserve delicate materials such as lace and silk, preventing shrinking and colour fading.

SEPARATING LIGHTS AND DARKS
Your laundry will be sorted into lights and darks and washed separately to ensure the highest standard of care.

If you would prefer everything to be washed together, simply let your Multitasking Mum know. 💜

How We Calculate:
1 x 5kg Load
One load of laundry (clothing or linen) is approximately 5kg when dry, or roughly equivalent to one standard laundry basket.

If you have lights and darks, these will be washed separately, even if the combined weight is under 5kg.
Should you prefer them washed together, please just let us know.

Blankets and doonas are bulkier items and are charged based on volume (the size of the washing machine drum) rather than weight:
• Up to 5kg volume – e.g. single or double doona/blanket
• 5–10kg volume – e.g. queen or king doona/blanket

(Please note that thickness and weight may vary between items.)

Our laundry service goes beyond washing and folding.
